The food is always good on a cruise ship, and over the years we have had some really good food. On this cruise, it was the same.
First, let’s start off talking about our dining room staff. On this cruise we had Chrisboy and Polvin on the first night, since we had to move times since we were assigned the later dining time, and we wanted the early time.

Every other night, we had Stephen and Yauness. They were great! Stephen had some great stories to tell, even though sometimes he was hard to hear/understand.

Some of the standout food that we had was the shrimp coctail (I got this a number of times).

Another almost nightly order was the escargot. So good!

The chicken parmaesan was MASSIVE. Easily a sharing portion.

The tenderloin was pretty good, but was not as good as something the next night that I will talk about below.

A disappointing dish was the seafood pasta. No real flavor and the seafood was just ok.

One thing that they had each night was an Indian dish. The butter chicken did not disappoint and was really good!

Now on to one of the best things we had all week. This carne asada with chimichurri was just amazing. We ordered a second one. All the sides were just meh, but the meat and sauce were fantastic!

They had a good bao, which was sweet and so tasty.

On to lobster night! This was very good (as expected).

The baked alaska was also a highlight of the trip.

The seafood cake was very good with the spicy mayo.
Those were my choices. Below are the things that James liked.

This is the chicken saag. This was the gateway to knowing that the Indian food was going to be great on the ship. The bread was interesting and food was flavorful and not too hot.

When these showed up on the screen, James said “those cookies were really good!” They were vegan.

This was MASSIVE. This was a lamb shank? This was James’s first recollection of trying plantains. The food itself was good.

This was part 1 of the double dessert for James. This was the Royal Chocolate Cake.

This was part 2, called the chocolate decadence. It was also really good.

Not as good as Carnival, but was still good
We also had a metric ton of Sorrento’s pizza slices and some Mexican food at the El Loco Fresh.
