The entertainment on the ship was unlike the entertainment we had seen before on other ships, even on Royal Caribbean. There was no broadway-style show, except for something called the Effectors II, which was super hero themed.
That is not to say that The Effectors II was not good. It was technically impressive. However, a couple of the performances were less than stellar. Here is one of the most impressive parts of the show (with the same cast we had):
It is a sequel to The Effectors that was on other ships. If you take a moment to watch the entire video above, it is cheesy, but also kind of fun and unexpected.
The other show that was in the main theater was Voices. This was a singing show with much of the same cast as the Effectors. Some of the voice talent was pretty amazing, but most were just ok.
A favorite of ours on the Royal Caribbean ships is the Anchors Aweigh party on the Royal Promenade. I encourage you to check it out below. Very fun show.
One of the big shows that are on the bigger ships is the Aquatheatre shows. On this ship, it is Intense. The story was harder to follow than usual, but the performer that did all the acrobatics above the audience was amazing.
Check it out below.
There was also the show in the ice arena called Seasons 365. This was cool to see what they can do with performers in an ice arena and limited space.
That was it for big entertainment. I will talk about the other, smaller entertainment offerings in another entry.
